Dr. Nay (Renee M. White, Ed.D.) is an inspirational poet, best-selling author, and the first signed spoken word artist of MoonTown Records. In collaboration with multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated music producer Herb Middleton, she co-created Spoken Fusion—a groundbreaking genre that seamlessly blends poetry and music to amplify women’s empowerment. Her thought-provoking artistry delivers a powerful message of strength, resilience, and transformation.
As the author of Embrace Your Power: A Transformative Journey of Self-Discovery, Dr. Nay encourages women to harness their inner strength and live boldly. A dedicated educator, Dr. Nay is a full professor at St. Joseph’s University in New York, specializing in literacy and cultural diversity, with nearly 40 years of experience in education. She holds a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Virginia, a master’s degree in Reading Specialist from CUNY-Brooklyn College, and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from New York University.
